There is a small difference between the China and global versions. The China model is listed with a 7,000mAh battery, while the global version has a 6,900mAh capacity. The India model is expected to follow the global specification.
For performance, Vivo has used the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. The processor is based on a 3nm process and is paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
The global model runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. The phone also comes with IP58, IP59, IPX8 and IPX9 protection ratings.
The foldable measures 4.4mm when unfolded in the black version and weighs 228 grams.
Vivo X Fold 6 India Launch: What To Expect
The Vivo X Fold 6 will enter India's premium foldable segment with a different hardware mix. The 200MP ZEISS camera, 6,900mAh battery and Dimensity 9500 Super chip are among the main specifications of the phone.
The large 8.02-inch inner display should also make the phone suitable for watching videos, reading and running multiple apps. The 80W wired charging and 40W wireless charging add to the feature list.
However, the India price will be important. The X Fold 6 will be positioned well above the previous X Fold 5. Vivo is expected to confirm the final price, availability and launch offers on October 6.
